List products from all categories in a box?

Hi, I'm trying to list all products from all categories in a box on the homepage, with a heading for the start of each category.
The products need to be listed one under the other with title, short info and thumbnail image. The categories also need to have their own titles that link to their respective pages. So, for example:

CATEGORY
  [product thumbnail] product title
                               product info

  [product thumbnail] product title
                               product info

  [product thumbnail] product title
                               product info

CATEGORY
  [product thumbnail] product title
                               product info

etc...

I know this probably sounds pointless but it's an online ticket shop for a venue and the site needs to have a calendar-like functionality on the homepage. There will only ever be four categories, which will be titled with the next four months, so for example - October, November, December, January - then at the end of October, that category gets deleted and a new category for February is created. The products (tickets) will be sorted into these categories based on the date of the corresponding event.

Any help would be greatly appreciated
