How to limit the featured products at homepage

I am new to prestashop. When i add my products they all get shown at homepage (at featured products). I want to limit the number of products to be shown maybe about 8.

what should i do?
help me!!!

Solution 1:
Log in to your back office
Select Modules Tab
Look for "Featured Products on the homepage" Module"
Click Configure, at the next page change "Number of product displayed"

Solution 2:
Remove your product from category "Home" at your Catalog
