XGhozt
We're building a website for a company which sells belts and jewelry, among other things. And we need the ability to use Authorize.net. I've done some searching, and found two:http://addons.prestashop.com/en/payments-gateways/443-payment-authorizenet.htmlhttp://addons.prestashop.com/en/payments-gateways/1258-egrove-authorizenet.htmlOne is significantly cheaper than the other, and I don't understand why.Can anyone tell me when one module is $50 USD and the other is $230 USD?I realize that one is "Developed by Prestashop", but that's n excuse to charge that much extra if they do the same thing. rocky
You are forgetting one Authorize.net module here. I'm not sure what the difference is between those two modules you mentioned, but I do know that the one I linked to handles refunds, whereas PrestaShop's one doesn't. XGhozt
Have you used any of the Authorize.net modules linked here? Thanks for that link by the way.I'm still unsure the difference between the first two, but I don't see anything about refunds on either of the other ones. tomerg3
I have no idea about the community module on the prestashop addons store. The Prestashop developed module on the addons store uses Authorize.net's CIM method, which redirects the customer to the authorize.net server to enter the credit card info, and then he returns to your site. The module on my store uses Authorize.net's AIM method, which keeps the customer on your site and makes the payment stage very quick and simple. In addition it also syncs with the Prestashop order status, so you can cancel an order or do a partial refund of products from an order, and it will automatically send the right command to authorize.net.I am actually using this module on Presto-Changeo.com which means it gets tested even more than usual
