lifeboat13
Hello,I am going to build a new site and was looking to test out some theme styles to start from.I am noticing that many of the theme instructions say to copy modules. How is this easy? All I want to do is see how the site will look. But this system makes me replace modules for each one to work correctly? the css isn't even loading for them unless i replace a module. It is supposed to be: change the appearance in the back end and edit the css for that theme. Are there any links people can share that offer clean and free themes?thanks
LovePrestashop
It is very easy to switch between themes. you need copy the whole folder of theme and upload it into your theme directory. After that, just simply login BO switch to any theme you like...
rocky
Well-designed themes will have all the module code within the theme's directory, so that replacing modules isn't necessary. This makes it easy to switch between themes and test them out. Unfortunately, you can't put module PHP files in the theme's directory. Some theme authors get around this issue by requiring you to upload modules, which makes it difficult to switch between themes if they require modifications to the same module. Your only choice is to choose themes that don't require you to do that.
