fburn Posted October 31, 2008 Share Posted October 31, 2008 With a large product catalog and multiple sub-categories it becomes difficult to browse through the catalog or locate products using the back-end as you must navigate through the categories to locate a product.To resolve the issue I've created a non-displayed category called 'All' that contains all of my products. A more ideal solution would be to provide an interface to search by SKU, name, id, manufacturer, supplier, etc... using wildcards and then be able to edit the products that way. Also being able to view all prodcuts monolithic or select a set of products and view them monolithic would be very beneficial for catalog management.
