moving Gift wrap to the shopping cart

Hello,


I've tried to move gift wrap to the shopping basket page as I skipped 'carrier' page (I only have 1 carrier) but I'm struggling with displaying this functionality.

I have copied gift wrap code .i.e.

    {if $giftAllowed}
{l s='Gift'}

.... etc

to my shopping-cart.tpl page, but it won't display anything. Has anyone have a solution to this problem? Could anyone help?
