Automatic setting of the shipping service depending on the number of items

We are working with Prestashop 1.6 and have a little problem there.

Following situation:

We have an article which we offer. In DE, the item will be shipped by UPS for free. But we also have customers who buy multiple items. In the case should then be automatically determined that from 4 items of this variety should be shipped only with freight forwarding. How can you do that? Unfortunately, this does not work, but this is determined by our basic shipping costs.

To understand again a small overview:

1-3 Items - DE Free UPS / Remainder Paid UPS

4-6 Items - DE Free Shipping Price 1 / Remainder Paid Forwarding Price 1 + x - small pallet

6-12 Items - DE Free Shipping Price 2 / Rest Paid Forwarding Price 2 + x - large range

 

I hope it is understandable what is being sought. Maybe there is a plugin which allows a staggering of articles / shipping service / price

Could you add a weight to each item, say 1 Kg for easy maths

 

Then in your carrier settings have 1-4 Kg £0, next bracket would be 4 >6 Kg, £carrier cost, then 6>12 KG >£Carrier Cost 2 etc
