Jester_v01
Hi,So I'm a beginner with a bit of HTML, PHP and general computing and I volunteered to help a friend with a Prestashop based e-store. It was create for her by a contractor and, whilst it's pretty good, she wants to tweak some bits. Not wanting to break the working copy on the server I've ftped the whole thing to my machine (Win7 64) and set up XAMPP to run it. I've got the database set up (exported from the server, set up user and database locally) and the starting page loads fine (http://localhost/index.php). However, when I try to follow one of the links (say http://localhost/xxx/yyy.html) I get a 404. Obviously whatever picks up the html request and then gets Smarty to make a page is broken. Has anybody seen something similar before? Got any ideas? Many thanks!
