glennox
Hello members of this forum,I recently received an order for someone to set up a webshop using Prestashop.A unique layout was created and largely built, but at one point but stay suspended.I have the categories displayed on the left of the website (default). Now I would like for each main category to have a background picture, and not for the (underlying) subcategories. So only the "top level" categories must have a background. In the annex you will find a picture of the layout of the current menu (everything is now open for this I have set). The bold text should be provided with a background image.I'm in "modules / blockcategories" and "themes / PrestaShop /" file "category-tree-branch.tpl" adjusted. To test I have always put an edge, but he unfortunately placed indent the subcategories.I've looked at the "$ node" and "child", etc. Perhaps using the variable $ node determine whether a "top level" category?Who can help me? Thanks!Sincerely,Glenn
CTDAN
Hi Glenn,You need to add the background-image in the Themes//CSS/global.cssfor the :div#categories_block_left ul.tree a{}This should apply for top level categories where as second level menu items can be targeted with:div#categories_block_left ul.tree li ul{}hope that helps!
