google analytics Best way to track conversion in Google Analytics

Hi, this may be a strange question, but what is the best way to track conversions from PrestaShop in Google Analytics?

I know, there is a default module for Google Analytics, but this module (at least in our case) is not tracking any conversions (maybe there is something wrong in our installation). So we are using our own goals in Analytics based on final URL in order process, but also this way is not always working as i expect.

It is possible that i am missing some informations how to setup this module, or some general informations about analytics. So any help or guide is welcome. Thank you.
