intermittent error "PrestaShop Fatal error: no utf-8 support. Please check your server configuration."

Hi all,
i am usign presta 1.2.5 and have this problem.
Presta works fine but sometimes, expecially when i made many change to products in BO,
presta say "PrestaShop Fatal error: no utf-8 support. Please check your server configuration"
and the site remain blocked for some time giving only that message as response.

I repeat that the shop works fine the db is using utf8. the problem occur only when
made many mods in BO.

Any contribute is welcome.

I am facing the same problem, My site shows the same error, this does not happen when i do changes in BO, it happens when the site is live for long. every hour the site goes off with this error, the fix is simple. I just need to go to Mysql and there i click on set privileges and then OK, i dont change anything there. By just doing that the site is LIVE again.


This makes me sit on my website 24X7 as i dont know when will the site goes off

Hi all, we faced this error and came to conclusion that it was our server error. So your only solution is to change the server.

 

 

 

We are using siteground now and pretty happy with them. Take a link of discount from our signature.

 

 

 

Earlier we were using fatcow and ipage server. So just change the server.
