e-commerce gateway with Prestashop

Hi everyone, i'd like to develop a site which will have 25 different stores, each one with its own database of products and each of these store would have a administrative account which will enable to change to modifye the catalogue of products. Is Prestashop the good solution for such a project? Will it involve extensive coding or can i implement those features knowing that i'm new to php and web development but a good c++ programmer? Thanx in advance for your help.
