Modules dont save settings

I finally got the store installed and am going though the admin interface to configure settings. However i am having a problem with the modules. I can install and uninstall modules just fine, but when i configure them and click Save or update settings it brings me back to the admin index page and doesnt save any of the changes i just made to the module. I go back into the module I just tried to modify and it is still the default settings. Any ideas? Would really like to configure modules understandably :-p

Do you have an example module that doesn't work. For example the editoral writes the changes to an xml file but other modules might write changes to the database

I have the same problem, and no one telling us why that happend and how to slove, im really disapointed of presta support.

This sounds like a folder permissions issue.

 

Try to change /modules and all the subfolders inside to 755 (I assume it's currently set to 777)
