How do I change order reference number in 1.7

Recommended Posts

Hello

I am using Prestashop 1.7.3

I have managed to change the order referene number from letters to numbers.

I would like to change the offset number so that my invoices don't get the number from 1 but starts on for example number 600 or so.

I have tried to change via admin in Order -> Invoices but that did not work.

I assume I need to alter a value in the database but were ?

Or do I need a module for this ?

Please help me anyone.

Petter

Thank you.

I have successfully installed the Module in my Prestashop 1.7.7.0

Now I don't understand how to configure this module, please see the attached screenshot.

Is this correct? Is it all I have to do?

Hello @muynck,

I have also installed your module.

Big Thanks by the way!

But... i have a problem with a the module, maybe not exactly your module, but a problem anyway.

When i installed it, it works very good. But when i use the payment module Mollie, then the payment module still gets the wrong reference.

The customer gets a payment mail with the random letters from Prestashop.

Doo you have any idea why this is happening?

It would be nice that all the reference are the same, this is getting a little confused to search things later.

Hope to hear you soon.

With kind Regards,

Fons De Vrij (ps: sorry for my English, i'am dutch speaking)

Hi,

It might not necessarily be a bug of our module. We had this bug with one client of ours, but it doesn't occur anymore.

PAY. might work fine with it, but we had problems in the beginning. I have a feeling that `order_payment` records are added later, and that in some cases the payment provider only has the old reference.

Hi,

I don't know what reference they got from Prestashop.

I did change the positions and put the order reference all the way to the top, but this doesn't help either.

I wrote to Mollie to look for a solution with me, but this was not very succesful. They say there is nothing wrong and our module works fine with Prestashop. but further no support from there.

So... i really don't know what to do now!

Hello @muynck,

I have a question about your module.

Is it possible to start from a specific reference

Today we went live with our shop, but i want to continu with the reference of our previous shop.

For example in our previous shop we end with the reference AG#1009, and now i want to continu with AG#1010

Is this possible?

Thank you.
