epsilongr
Hello i want to ask something that looks simple but a question of a client make me to thinking complicated. He said. " Someone creating carts and let them and the next visitors cant make an order because all the products are in the forgoten carts". Is that possible? An abandoned cart keep the quantity and block produtcs to be ordered? I think the products will not blocked for order until someone make an order and not only if simply let them into and abandonded cart. Is that correct??? jetway
Abandoning a cart will not block the in cart items from being ordered by someone else. At least not running Prestashop core without any add on that might do the trick. However, i have noticed that when an abandoned cart gets reactivated, it is possible to order these items even if no quantity is available. I know it was possible in previous versions of Prestashop but i am not sure if it's still possible in 1.6.1.18. This is why i have a process that actually deletes abandoned carts. It is also possible you have ticked that out of stock items can still be purchased. If you go to an item, go to quantity

You can set this for every product individually. The Products that get sold even when out of stock are they set to deny orders? Which Prestashop Version are you running?
