wakasm
I have read various threads, tried a bunch of solutions, but I can't seem to figure this one out. We upgraded from 1.2.5 to 1.3.1 and it looks like everything works except for account registrations. We are able to login, everything seems to function straight-forward so far - but when you go to create a new account.... you are met with this:1. an error occurred while creating your account I thought it might be a COOKIE_KEY error, but existing users are able to log in. I tried using the existing old database, I tried a clean install and importing just the old data, I've tried a new install importing just the users, but no matter which way I try I can't seem to get registration to work now. We upgraded from 1.2.5 to 1.3.1 if that helps. I keep seeing a solution to truncate the customer table, but why would I want to delete out existing users in order to get this work? Any ideas would be appreciated.**EDIT** - I believe this should be in the "Upgrading Presta Shop Thread.... I can't seem to move it.SOLUTION: I changed the config version to 1.2.5 ( even though it was updated to 1.3.1) and re-ran the database upgrade. This seemed to fix the problem. wakasm
I also just noticed that from the backend I get this error an error occurred while creating object customer (Unknown column 'id_default_group' in 'field list')There seems to be no default group, which makes me think that this is the problem, but no idea where to fix this. wakasm
Just more info from reading various threads. Some people have solved this problem by running the installer - but the option for "update" is greyed out when I try to run it.Update: Get the latest stable version (installed version detected : 1.3.1.1) <---- is greyed out. I'm pretty sure I'm up-to-date as far as the database goes. Please help!
