Looking to change the standard theme's colour to black

hi there, i currently have the standard theme for prestashop but im looking to change the colour of the background to black or something.

How would i go about doing this and what would i edit?

Edit global.css under "root/themes/prestashop/css/"

Find line 15 and change

background-color:white;

to

background-color:black;

Did exactly as i asked so thank you very much, although i tried black and then tried grey and they really dont look good.
Kind of need to change all other colours too to make it look vaguely good

You may learn colors code by using Adobe Photoshop. Also what colors you want to change?

how do i go about doing this?
I was just looking to make something little more unique tbh, black background or so and then change the colours on the other 'boxes'.

Is there anyway to change the catagories colour and the actual text and look of the catagories section?
