Downloadable products with multiple file types

I am looking into using prestashop but I need to know if it can do what I need to do for my store.
1. Does prestashop support automatic delivery (via download) of the downloadable product?
2. I Want to be able to sell files (electronic patterns) for download, and for each pattern file the customer needs to be able to chose the file type they need for their particular brand of machine. I don't want to have to create a catalog item for each file type because there are about 11 different file types available for each electronic pattern.
Is this possible with prestashop ? I was maybe thinking something might be possible using attributes and groups?

It is not possible with Presatashop, you can only assign one downloadable file per product.

It can obviously be customized, but that will require a good few hours of work.

Im interested in this option as well. Anyone planning on writing a module? I have a store that sells ebooks and need to offer versions for the Kindle, EPub and others.

I'M interested in the same thing...you could obviously produce a separate product as a different file format , but that sounds like a messy method to do it.

There is a module that allows multiple download (one attribute = one specific downlodable file). Module made by Natsu, available in the addons store.
