[Posted on Paid Services forum] Order status drop menu dissappeared and no product description for orders

I received an order today that I went to mark as 'In Preparation'. However, the drop down menu that has the statuses is no longer there (image "Order_1" and "Order_2". I then noticed that where the product image and description should be (image "Order"), there is nothing but some weird message under the product column.

My shop was recently upgraded by a third party who did not finish the entire job, plus I added a number of paid modules like Authorize.net, One Page Checkout and Gift Voucher. So, i wouldn't even know where to look on how to solve this error. It's along shot, but anyone out there who may have an idea on what's wrong?
