Shipping Rates Defined by Weight

Hello:

Can someone please help me:

I need to setup shipping rates by kg with a rate table as follows:

All items are in 0.1kg increments.

0.1 - 0.5 increments = $7.99
0.6-2.0 increments = $9.99
2.0 + = $12.99

How would I go about setting this up. There is no where in the shipping tab that allows me to define the price, only the carrier and the weight.

Hello mate,

Right this needs to be done in two - three parts really.

1) Set up your carriers as per your desires

2) Click "Shipping" --> "Weight Ranges" --> "Add" --> You now need to define your weight ranges i.e 0.1 - 0.5kg, 0.6 - 2.kg & 2kg - some random number!!

3) Click "Shipping" again. Select your carrier and you will see x3 boxes with the values $0.00. You now add your values to the weight ranges you assigned earlier.

I was having the same problem, I installed PrestaShop a couple of hours ago... and I am very impressed with it so far:)
