Cart content( product price ) different from Order content ( product price )

OPS, just realiized that there is not price attribute in cart_product table.
so please dismiss this post

Hi, I need to locate the code that adds products to the cart_product table, can someone help me?
The reason is :
In our shop, we have this discount policy ( product discount and group discount ) , we take whichever is greater .
it is working, but there is a problem when you compare the order and the cart that generated that order
We haven't seen this problem before till now that we started working with the paypal module, it seems the paypal module is calculating the total to be paid in ways different from the other payment modules like cash on delivery , bank wire or Cheque.
By this I mean, A logged customer who is buying in our shop will see a price X ( which is the product price Z*0.70 , the discount belonging to its group, customer with 30% off) and he will see this price in his cart until the moment of checkout, if he chooses to pay by Paypal, he'll be charged and amount o Y ( which is Z*0.90, the product discount, all products has this discount until the end of September), and this happends only if he chooses Paypal, if he chooses another payment option he will be charge X although the cart will be saved with the price Y.


We are using the blockcart with ajax in our shop if that information helps
