Digital sales?

Hi there. I've just found out about PrestaShop and I have to say it looks pretty impressive.

I've been running an online radio station for a while and I'm wanting to set up an online record label like service to run alongside it.

Is it possible to sell digital contet via PrestaShop? Although we aim to eventually sell physical CD's and other types of media, all of our current artists interested in the upcoming service only have digital versions of there music.

If possible i'd also like to include previews. For example if someone wanted to buy a digital album they could preview each track - listen to a small clip of it, before deciding to buy it. This would also be used on single track purchasing.

PrestaShop lets you add a single downloadable file to each product and secures those files so that only customers who bought them can download them. To add multiple files to a single product, you will need to zip the files.

When editing the product description, you can click the "Insert / edit embedded media" (film strip icon on the right side of the second-last row) to add a "Quicktime", "Windows Media" or "Real Media" audio preview. There is also a free module here that looks like it might help you.
