[Solved] There are no carriers available that will deliver to this address!

[solved] The problem seems to be with a particular weight, so when a product of that weight is added to the cart, the checkout displays the No Carrier message.
So I've changed the weight slightly and it seems to be ok........... fingers crossed.

The shop has been working fine for months.

Today I had a mail from a customer saying that he could not order as he received the message:

"There are no carriers available that will deliver to this address!"

Nothing has been changed, so why has this just happened?

Any help gratefully received as the shop is now useless.

I've tried going to the shipping tab and clicking the save button below fees, that seemed to work for some people but hasn't made any difference for me.

I am having the same problem. I have a default carrier in my admin and the territory (UK) is set up but I'm told I don't have a carrier.

Can anyone help?

I think I've solved it!

I put a total in the field 'Fees by carrier, geographical zone, and ranges' and it seemed to work.

The problem for me appeared to be the weight of the product.
If another product was added to the cart, it all worked fine.
So in the end I just changed the weight of the product slightly, it was easier than trying to find the source of the problem.
