rocky
It is impossible to edit the Home category from the Back Office. You will need to restore a backup of your categories tables, or use the CSV import tool again with the Home category in it. Make sure that you have category 1 and "Home" as the first category and make all top-level categories have an id_parent of 1. Choose the "Delete categories?" option to delete your messed up categories before re-importing.

rocky
If the products aren't in categories, you can't delete them from the Back Office. The easiest way would be to re-import your products and use the "Delete products?" option to delete all the products then import only the products you want.
