Order canceled : Paypal Transaction id is invalid (code 10609)

Hello,

I'm using PRESTASHOP 1.7.2.2 with payment module PAYPAL.

 

I try to change the status to "CANCELED". I have this error :

We encountered an unexpected problem during the cancellation. See messages for more details

 

Here the message :

error_code : 10609;
error_message : Transaction id is invalid.;

 

I can change the order status to all other statuses except "CANCELED" (refuned, process in progress, ... all works except "canceled")

 

I search in Google, and i found nothing... So i come here and I hope one guy know the same problem

Same error here. But unfortunatedly no solution.

I called to callcenter for help with that problem. I received answer than, I shuld open ticket in https://www.paypal-techsupport.com.
I did it and I waiting

We need update paypal module yourself

The issue is due to the fact that the method used by your plugin, DoVoid, can be used to void Authorizations or Orders but what your plugin is trying to void is a Sale, a final transaction.

 If you need to refund a transaction then your plugin should call a different method, RefundTransaction.
