Timm Romanik
Hello, i have a Problem with my local installation of Prestashop. The main Problem is, that Prestashop does no change the language in the installation itself and after the installation. I think it is somehow a Permissions Problem or i think false. But i even tried chmod 777, which you shouldnt do, and it still didnt work. 1. When i change the language in the installation Process, it does not change anything, it stays on the default language which is english. Tried installation packages from http://www.prestashop.com/en/download and http://www.prestashop.com/de/download 2. if i download a localization pack and then change the language in the international/localization settings and the Preferences of my Admin Account it changes nothing. 3. if i want to modify for example the back office translation for english in the international/translation menu, prestashop displays: "Translation File not available" Even after i updated/added the translation pack for the specified language, it does not work. 4. If i try to export a language through the international/translation menu i get the Errors you see in the attachment 5. i had before a VM in which i ran Ubuntu with Prestashop in Apache and there it worked with the languages. I saw a difference in the prestashop/app/Resources/translations folder. In both cases i tried it out with the english language. In the VM i had there a default folder and a en-US folder in which the english .xlf files were. But in the case now in the prestashop/app/Resources/translations/en-US there is just en-US.zip in there. Has it something to do with it? i appreciate all your help, i hope i explained all things necessary!
