Recommended Posts

http://camereip.info/26-camera-ip-vivotek-pt3122.html

want to appear like this:
http://camereip.info/8996-camere-de-supraveghere/9003-camere-de-supraveghere-ip/26-camera-ip-vivotek-pt3122.html

link that is to contain the category and subcategory.

How can we change?

Try to change the "Default category" of your product in the product page. People often leave it to "Home".

And please, ask only one question by topic.

thank you for your answer but you don't understand.

i have the product in this second category.

http://www.camereip.info/9003-camere-de-supraveghere-ip

when you go to a product you will have this link:

http://www.camereip.info/26-camera-ip-vivotek-pt3122.html

i want to have in this way :

www.website.com/name-fist-category/name-second-category/name-of-the-product

thank you for your answer.

You have this link :
http://www.camereip.info/26-camera-ip-vivotek-pt3122.html
because the product has got the "Home" category as Default category.

If you set as Default category for that product a "Aaaa" category, you will then have the URL :
http://www.camereip.info/Aaaa/26-camera-ip-vivotek-pt3122.html

However, I don't think possible to have an URL like in you example :
http://www.website.com/name-fist-category/name-second-category/name-of-the-product

What is "name-second-category", a sub-category of "name-fist-category" or just another category to which "name-of-the-product" belongs to?

The last link is not possible.

For the second one, I explained it above. Change the product's default category.

Patrick, If you are still watching this thread, I have a question. Does it make any real difference to google and your keywords whether you use the home category or a sub category in your url?

For example:

http://www.gamesfromeverywhere.com.au/chess-sets/232-chess-set-polish-kings.html

and

http://www.gamesfromeverywhere.com.au/232-chess-set-polish-kings.html

Thanks,
