[SOLVED]Changed hosting servers

Hello all, Ive recently moved my site to a new Linux virtual server. I have encountered two problems. One is the home page is a blank white screen, my guess is it has to do with this line in the config file:

define('__PS_BASE_URI__', '/');

I am using a 1&1;virtual server so should the input be / or /var/www/vhosts/etcetcetc...

I can access the back office visually but it is not accepting my password which is my second problem.

blank page problem was permissions needed to be added again so I chmodded everything and it works fine. Still working on the back office password but that should be easy since ive seen others with that problem on here

You need to make sure that the COOKIE_KEY (in /config/setting.inc.php) is the same as the old server.

The Cookie_Key is used to encode the passwords.

1&1;is one of the worse hosting company I ever saw, you get 100mb database, and plenty of permission issues.
