What kind of promotion methods does prestashop software have?

I am thinking to add some promotion to my website so I have recently post a thread to check whether prestashop can achieve my promotion strategy.

There are some strategy which can't be achieve using prestashop, so I start this thread to ask what are the promotion methods that I can use in prestashop before I go on to think of my promotion plan.

Can you guys help to list them down for me?
