MrBaseball34
Upload them manually instead of in the BO.Enter the image in the BO, then upload the animated gifs with the same names but GIF extension.Modify the category.tpl file to change the image from jpg to your gif:change "-category.jpg" to "-category.gif"

ScubaLessonsInc
Ok.. I tried this.. but the code that is in the category.tpl file is such that you can not just switch it to .gif.. if you want only some categories to be animated .gif's and not others. Can you elaborate on what lines of code in which file and exactly how to upload the images(what path) to be sure I am getting this right please. Thanks so much for your help. I'll have a bash now and let you know how it is done. Also im using a module i created myself to add and upload watermarked flash (swf file based) watermaked images as product ones for security etc. So instead of those pesky normal ones I am using flash based images with animated watermarks. Alot more proffesional. I often make my own modules to cut costs down on module purchasing etc.
