hurray
Hi,Lately I have realised that prestashop has quite a lot of problems. For example, I name a category "Silver Pendants", then I go back to rename it to just "Pendants". Even though this change appears on the front-end, however on the back end, it still stays as "Silver Pendant". Then if I click on the view button (to view the details of this category) on the right hand side then on the detail page, it shows the new name "Pendant". I wonder why this new name does not appear on the list of categories page on the back-end.Secondly, let's say I have 80 items under the category "Pendants". On the back end when I click on this category to view the items, by default I can only view 50 items on one page. So I need to click on the arrow to go to the next page. However when I click on the arrow, instead of going to the second page which would have displayed the rest of the items, it takes me to the page with all the categories (completely different page) on the back-end. This is really annoying.Thirdly, I have enabled the combination button for few of my items. When I check these items on my desktop from the front-end, the drop down menu with the combination choices appears almost just fine except that it only displays certain amount of characters (e.g how do I adjust the width of the drop-down menu so that the entire phrase appears?). But if I check the same item on my laptop, the width of the drop-down menu shrinks to almost only 2 characters. It does not work on my laptop. Why is this happening?I thought that prestashop was one of the best and dynamic e-commerce softwares out there but am I wrong?
Patric
The first problem may come from your cache. Please try to empty your browser's cache and delete the cookie, or try from another browser/computer.If I remember well, the second problem used to happen in an old PrestaShop version. Which version do you use ?Concerning the third problem, I know that there may be some problems with IE which do not enlarge the list's width according to its content. On which browser/platform do you meet the problem? Thanks.
hurray
I am using Prestashop 1.2.5. As for the 3rd problem, I had the same thought as you. On my desktop, I have both IE9 and Firefox. It works fine on both these browsers. But on my laptop I have IE7, and it does not work there.

hurray
So what is the solution to the 2nd problem? If I want to go and edit an item that is on page2, how do I get there? Even the function to display 20/50/100/300 items on one page does not work.
rocky
It's a known bug in PrestaShop v1.2.5. See this topic for the solution. Just overwrite AdminCatalog.php with the one in that topic.
