How to make registration mandatory, so that visitors can’t view products without registering

I wish to make it so that all visitors must register before they are allowed to view the site.

Please tell me how to do this if it is possible.

I'm not aware of any free modules that prevent access to your site until you've logged in. If you search the forums, you might get lucky and find one.
