[Solved] Thumbnails of newly created products not showing on e-store, also no writing permisions for regenerating thumbnails for category, manufacture

PROBLEM SOLVED

I resolved this problem by setting CHMOD to 777 not only to /img/ file, but all files for products images in those files - with checking also the box for subfolders.

Then I regenerated thumbnails again and although there seem to be still writing permission error, this solution actually worked. Pictures now show normaly.

I hope someone has already tried to resolve this problem successfully and I am asking for a help.

I just recently discovered that there is a problem when generating new products - pictures of thickbox and other bigger pictures show normaly, but pictures of thumbnails under New products block and in other thumbnails do not show. There is a question mark instead of thumbnails.

When I tried to regenerate thumbnails (after I've don some resizing in Preferences/Images), I got the message that I have no writing permission for categories, products and manufacturers files.

I checked my permission and everything was fine - CHMOD set to 777.

Does anyone kow where could be the problem?

I remember that I've done some resing to thickbox frame, to look bigger and to make big pictures show more correctly. Maybe that could be a problem? Other pictures of thumbnails of the old products show normaly, just the newly added ones not.
