[ask] Add to cart with specific quantity

to add to cart i use this link

what i want to ask is if i change the qty value to 3 for example , why the added quantity is still 1 when the button is clicked?

what i want to make is something like at the product page where there is a form that you can input the quantity and when the button is clicked the add to cart animation is shown.

have tried those solution .

yeah , if i use that solution the quantity does match but the animation doesn't work .

if i press the add to cart button the page go to cart.php with the desired quantity of product but without the animation thing.

or maybe i didn't do the solution right .

still not working
