itnecor
I am new to PrestaShop as well as the OSL v3.0, that is why I find it difficult to understand the do's and dont's on giving a credits to PrestaShop or OSL v3 on my online store. What I did is simply replace the name and logo of the company and do some minor modifications on the default THEME of PrestaShop and I retained the notice at the footer - "Powered by PrestaShop". Am I violating any rules so far? I am not putting this on the public server yet only on my local PC because I want to make sure first that I'm not violating any laws. What makes me totally confused is when I am visiting this link http://www.prestashop.com/en/showcase_liveshops/ ,none of these sites are giving credits to PrestaShop or OSL v3. Does it mean that if I develop a theme on my own, I'm no longer required to give credit to Presta?Sorry for this silly but I really need your help. Patric
PrestaShop is an e-commerce solution which is free for the basic kernel and open source. However, it requires expensive add-ons to make it fully functional and can end up costing more than comparable solutions Some shop owner have been running PrestaShop for years without buying any module. This is the choice of anyone to add a feature or another, and it will of course cost more and more. But this is also the case with "comparable solutions".
