[Solved] Can I apply discounts by manufacturer rather than individual products?

in the shop i am building, we have recently pickd up a new manufacturer and we are selling their t-shirts, 2 for $50... now in every product i can set this discount just fine, but the problem is the discount only applies to the 1 product and its size/colour variations... how would I be able to setup a discount, so that if they have any 2 products from the same manufacturer the discount is applied? is this even possible?

It's not possible to do that in PrestaShop and I'm not aware of any modules that do it.

thanks for the reply... i think this should be workd on tho.. i would think this wouldve come up before? is it that hard to fix ? could i attempt to do something myself? lol anything? this is just kind of necessary cuz we do this kind of promo's on the regular... is there even a way I could use the voucher system?



EDIT:

so i ended up checkin out the voucher thing for myself and it turns out i can apply a voucher to a single category, so i guess for now n i each individual item section i can add an additional category for brand name.. maybe even just a category called "sales".. hmm.. either way ya like the title says should be resolved but thisll work temporarily.. =)

p.p.s. it was tedious but heres a quik summary of what i did

1) removed all discounts
2) created a separate category called ! On Sale !
3) Editted my products to also be included in the ! On Sale ! category
4) Also editted my product description to mention the discount code, and that you had to click "cart" to enter it (its kind of confusing that if you click "checkout" you cant use the voucher =\
5)created a voucher exactly the same as the discout and applied it to the !On Sale! Category

as i said this is a temporary solution and if im having multiple sales i may have to make multiple categories to avoid manipulation of vouchers throughout the category but it works for now...
