Error in PayPal Currency is not supported

Hi everyone

I have just installed the paypal module in my prestashop 1.7.2.4 shop for visa/mastercard payments, however I get the "Currency is not supported" error during checkout.  In prestashop 1.5 someone in this post https://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/268556-solved-currency-not-supported-in-paypal-358/ ,suggested to replace the file process.php in modules/payment/paypal/express_checkout/ and at the top of the file modify the PAYPAL_FORCE_CURRENCY to whatever you wish to use.

How do I do that in prestashop 1.7.2.4?

You cannot force Paypal to accept a currency that they do not support.  The option you are referring to, would only force Paypal to convert the currency (for a hefty fee), but the 2 currencies still have to be supported by Paypal.

So what currency exactly are you trying to use, and did you confirm that Paypal supports it?

The currency is not supported by paypal, I am looking for a way to at least convert the currency to US dollar or any other supported currency during checkout.
