Shipping Taxes issue

Hi all

We have a problem with the taxes added to the shipping costs when a bought product and present in the cart must be shipped to the customer.

We have created a Carrier company in Shipping -Carriers, and added to it a 18% Tax to the final shipping price. Problem is that when the cart is shown just before finishing the order and payment, the customer can see the price of the product with no tax, the price of the shipping cost with no tax, and then the tax value calculated, but calculated only with the ammount of the product prices, not including the shipping costs.

This means that the final value of the cart is Product prices + Shipping Costs + TAX only of Product Taxes, but the right value should be Product prices + Shipping Costs + TAX of Product Taxes + TAx of Shipping Costs.

We have switched our shop configuration picking the Tax included/tax excluded options so prices are shown with taxes included or not, but at the end, at the payment step, we get always the same error.

We have tried to figure this out, but we dont get to see it.

We are using Prestashop 1.2.2, is this a bug of the version? does it has a solution? do you think if we start over with a 1.3.1 version issue will be solved.??

Problem of starting over is that we have to repeat all the work done again... and that can be a pain in the...

I cannot reproduce this with version 1.3.1. If tax is added to a carrier and Payment >> Taxes >> Tax Options >> Enable Tax is set to Yes, both the product tax and the carrier tax is added during checkout. If Payment >> Taxes >> Tax Options >> Enable Tax is set to No neither is applied

Taxes are being calculated on shipping costs even though I have Taxes: No selected on Shipping > Carriers.

The product price is $19.00
Sales Tax is 8.1%
Shipping Cost is 12.95
Total invoice order is: $34.54
