As such, I chose to first install this on my own development environment (localhost). I followed all steps provided by the guide and it installed successfully. However, upon trying to log in right away, it provides me with the error message Authentication Failed. My login credentials are identical to the ones I filled in. I do not run a mail-server locally and prefer not having to set this up here at work. How can this issue be resolved? And if it is related to the account not having been activated, is it possible to somehow directly activate the account via the database? If so, how? I'm looking forward to your advice.
