HTownBilliards
Looking for some help please!I'm new to PrestaShop but am figuring it out quickly (well sort of). My main issue is with importing my products into their categories and subcategories. I can get them all imported but I have to import twice which creates two separate products. Is there a way to link them so that I don't have duplicate products? I have almost 2000 products so to go into each one individually takes forever and I have to redo it everytime I reload my products.REALLY appreciate any help! Dave Angel
hi,in you csv file there will be (or there should be) a column with the heading > Categories <under this heading you can tell prestashop which categories you would like your products to appear in, for example;you have two categories bathroom and kitchenyou have two products.one called soap bar - it can be used in both the bathroom and the kitchen.one called toilet roll - it can be used in the bathroom. Now in your csv file you will type thisproduct name; categories; costsoap bar; bathroom, kitchen; 4.95toilet roll; bathroom;0.95I hope you paid particular attention to the fact that there is no space between > bathroom, kichen < if there is it can mess up your import.anyway, let me know how you get on with this.regards,rob.
