benwiggy
Yes, I get this too. Refreshing the page usually fixes it -- sometimes more than once. Or possibly leaving it for 10 seconds.I don't know the cause. But there are error messages in the cgierror.log about incorrect syntax.I posted about it here, but have not had anyone reply.http://www.prestashop.com/forums/viewthread/65655/general_discussion/internal_server_error_when_using_backofficeIn many ways, it is good that I am not the only one with this problem! emirie
Just a suggestion -- > In your File Manager try to change the permission of Modules folder to 755, all folders in it should be 755 while all files should be 655, Sorry I'm also a beginner and the problem might be the hosting but on this CHMOD setting my constant 500 internal server error fixed. If you already done this and still getting this error just ignore this post.
benwiggy
That does seem to have fixed it.Of course, it a bit a chore taking the execute bit of the files but leaving it on the folders.Shame the installation instructions don't mention this. Thanks
