Subcategory link if image not defined

Hi there, is there any way to set something like that :
I want subcat image only for few pages not for all
That what i have now:
1st Image is with setted up category image = working thumbinal + text link
2nd image is without cat image

And now let me explain once again what i want from it
In 1st image i`d delete text link and leave just image
On 2nd image i`d delete image [which isnt set] and leave only text link.

How can I do that?
