MAC87
Hi All, I was wondering if anyone has encountered a similar issue or can possible help identify why the blog module (Posts only, Blog Homepage is fine), keeps redirecting to a https? In a nutshell, the site is not SSL secured but the blog posts when clicked load a https// without the --> : <-- after the https - http://bit.ly/2nBKr3l - so instead of loading https:// it loads https// which causes this error: http://bit.ly/2BOwmEZ. I have checked the sites .htaccess file and it has the code advised by the module so this is fine and there is no redirect anywhere to a https. I can't see a force ssl option or anything simillar in the dashboard and i wondered if anyone can possibly suggest a solution? If i manually correct the url from https// to http:// it loads the blog post just fine. This is the module i am using: http://bit.ly/2DW7roV on PrestaShop™ 1.4.7.2 (it cant be updated as it caused theme issues). Any help would be appreciated, even if it is a guess or random suggestion. Thank you. Edited February 2, 2018 by MAC87 Corrected Link (see edit history)
musicmaster
Obviously there a typing error somewhere in that module (or Prestashop itself) where it states "https// " instead of "https://". The obvious thing to do is a text search for "https// " - first in the module and if that doesn't give results in the rest of Prestashop.

I have been through the blockblog module directory files 1 by 1 using Ctrl + F, but cannot see any reference at all in there to https//. As it is only the blog, i presume it must be in here somewhere. Thanks
musicmaster
I am using Total Commander. It is free, except for a bit of nagging if you don't buy the pro version. At first sight it is a kind of filemanager but it has a decent search function.
