Is it possible to amend an existing order?

I can't seem to figure this out...how do you amend an existing order in the back office?

E.g. customer wants to add another product to their purchase

or

E.g. customer purchased red shirt but wants to change to blue shirt (same product, different "combination")

It's not possible to edit orders or add new orders in PrestaShop. I'm not aware of any free modules that do this, though there are a couple of paid ones here and here.
