Hi, 

I'm trying to setup a Webshop, but i'm not really making progress. I'm trying to add custom CMS pages with information about my product, pages about the company and formatted text. I'm having 2 problems as of this moment.

 

1. I want to add an introduction block to my Homepage, containing information about the product's (i have 2 products) and some banners. 

2. I want to be able to add HTML to my text blocks/CMS, it keeps formatting it to some easy html code

I don't know your theme - some themes have their own modules, but usually the Homefeatured module offers the possibility to add some text to your homepage.

In the general settings of the shop you have the option to enable/disable the HTMLpurifier library. You should disable that.
