Exctracting category Seo links and cms Seo links dynamically

I've a multilanguage site and I'm currently adding some links to the footer and I've an issue inserting a friendly url.

For example I want to link to a category: www.bluaziende.com/5-greeting-cards I can make it works but the url description will not work. Ho can I make the "greeting-cards" dynamic?

I've tried using $link->getCategoryLink((5) but did't succeed to extract the friendly url.

I'd like to do the same for the CMS links.

Any help?
