Change default options in new products

Hi. I want to change the default options when I add a new product to my store. By example, I want that the option "available for orders" will be disabled for new products.

It is possible?

This is software. So everything is possible if you find the right line(s) in the code. 

You should find the template for the product in the backoffice (somewhere below your admin directory) and change the relevant part there so that you get a different default.

Ok, I need to override the Product class with the default options that I want to use.

That is not what I said. I wrote about changing the template (.tpl file). You can try changing/overriding the class but I am not sure whether that works, It depends on the code.
