[RESOLVED] Finally installed, but now I can't log into the back office (error)

Whenever I go to my admin page to log in, I get this error:

"There is 1 error
employee does not exist, or bad password"

I searched all around google and the forums, but none of the solutions are working for me. I still get the same error.
My prestashop email shows up under ps_employee with a password, but the password isn't working.
I tried the 'newadmin.php' tool from this thread, but that didn't work either.
I also created a password at md5.fr with my COOKIE_KEY string + password, but that didn't work either.

I'm so close to finally setting up Prestashop, but I have no idea what to do...Help please?

EDIT: nvm, I figured it out. I realized I was using the password phpMyAdmin listed under the new employee that I created with the "newadmin.php" tool. But I had to use the password I entered into the script
