Installing Google Analytics Manually

Hi All,

I have followed instructions from various posts throughout the forum and added the Google Analytics code to the header.tpl file with literal tags around the Google code as the module was not recording traffic within the Google Analytics Dashboard and i am hoping that this rectifies the issue.

The code is not displaying in the site source code, despite the addition of this script code and i was wondering if/how i cache the site or refresh the code to make this active?

I am using version v1.4.7.2 if this makes any difference to the process.

Any info would really help.
