[SOLVED] A lot of hits to the Cart - possible hacking?

Every now and again I notice that in the Carts page, there is someone...or something adding items to the cart at a rapid pace.

For example, it will go from one every hour, to suddenly 50 a minute.

Is it possible that some sort of bot / script / hack?

Or is this normal?

I have noticed this in the pass where there will be loads of carts added within a few minutes or less. But I also get alot of abandoned carts which are isolated say 30 a days but spread over the whole day.

I have added the code from the link you surgested so we will see what happens.
